In 2011 I was diagnosed with obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Living with heart failure changed my world. My husband encountered me to learn to paint. Watch Bob Ross he would say. July 2012 I picked up my first paint brush. Crochet, painting and surviving became my journey. After the death of my mom, husband, grandma and cousin in 2016, I was filled with so much sorrow, I was awoken to the realization that everyone is holding back pain from life and everyone was in need of happiness. So I started Art Abandonment of Magic Valley. To help spread happiness like sunflower seeds. Trying to survive and support my son was not easy. It was a blessing when the opportunity presented itself to open my shop here at 120 Ramage St in Twin Falls. Here at Chrissy's crafting Cottage come be inspired. Come show some support to the 15 local artists gathered together here at my flower garden of artists. I want everyone to bloom.
